In one June week, two teams hit four consecutive HR, two pitchers gave up five in a game, and two men hit for the cycle. Colorado's Charlie Blackmon had a record 15 hits in a four-game series, in which the Rockies and Padres set a record with 92 runs. Many pitchers had remarkable seasons, striking out more batters than hits allowed. Cy Young winners Justin Verlander and Gerrit Cole were the only 20-game winners, striking out over 300 batters each. A stellar rookie class, including Alonso, Fernando Tatis Jr., Yordan Alvarez, Keston Hiura, Victor Robles, Eloy Jimenez, and pitchers Mike Soroka, Dakota Hudson, Chris Paddack, among others, made significant debuts. The set includes 27 cards per team, a 27-card mixed player group, and 288 additional players. It features two-sided cards for basic, advanced, and super-advanced play.
